As long as your Powerwall is connected to the internet, you will be able to use the Tesla app to monitor your home energy system in real time and view your energy usage history. During a grid outage, internet is often still available and you will be able to view Powerwall status. If the Internet connection is lost, Powerwall will continue to operate with its most recent settings but you will not be able to monitor operation or change settings until connectivity is restored.
With the Tesla app, you can monitor your home’s energy production and consumption in real time. Set your preferences to optimise for energy independence, outage protection or savings. With instant alerts and remote access, you can control your system from anywhere.

Powerwall 3 is a fully integrated solar and battery system, designed to meet the needs of your home. Powerwall 3 can supply more power than Powerwall 2 with a single unit and is designed for easy expansion to meet your present or future needs.
