Each Microinverter connects to a single Solar panel so, unlike other types of inverters, if there is a dirty, shaded or a problem panel, the rest of the system keeps running smoothly.
Solar panels may get all the glory, but it’s the inverter that does all the work in a solar energy system. Tucked beneath each solar panel, microinverters convert the direct current (DC) power collected from the solar panels to alternating current (AC), the form of electricity your home can use.
Microinverters operate independently, so each panel performs to its fullest. One shaded or dirty panel won’t affect the rest of the system.
